Estate Planning For All

You don’t have to have an estate to do estate planning.

What is an estate plan? And why can everyone regardless of age, stage, or income level benefit from having one? An estate plan can help protect your finances and the people who matter most to you if you die or are no longer able to manage your own affairs.

Please join our panel of local estate planning experts for a discussion about practical tools that everyone should know about.  We will cover a range of topics from titling accounts and beneficiary designations to planning with minor children and documenting healthcare wishes. We will explore what it means to use an online service to create a will versus working with an attorney. And everyone who participates will gain a better understanding of the decisions they need to make and the documents they need to have in place.

Hosted by the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council in partnership with Arlington Community Foundation.  Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Panelists:

Raina Bonds, Esq., Reflections, Life Planning LLC

Ryan A. Brown, Esq., Arlington Law Group

Amy Schirmer, JD, CFP, CEPA, PNC Private Bank

Moderator:

Christy Cole, Arlington Community Foundation
